ChalisaDaily is a calm, modern space for Hindu devotional practice — starting with Hanuman Chalisa and growing with you.
Millions of Hindus know the Hanuman Chalisa by heart. Yet most don't have a calm, distraction-free space to chant it daily. We set out to build one — inspired by apps like Headspace and Calm, but rooted in our own devotional tradition.
No cluttered temple-website aesthetics. No ads interrupting your prayer. Just lyrics, audio, meaning — and a gentle nudge to show up every day.
Every design decision is judged by one question: does this help you feel more present in your prayer, or less? If less — it doesn't ship.
Chanting once a week for a year is worth far more than chanting ten times and stopping. We design for the long game — small, consistent, daily practice.
Whether you're a lifelong practitioner or someone reconnecting with your roots — ChalisaDaily meets you where you are, in your language, at your pace.
The founder noticed that while apps exist for meditation and mindfulness, nothing clean existed for daily Chalisa practice. The 40 verses of Hanuman Chalisa deserve a home worthy of their depth.
We spent weeks studying what makes habit-forming apps work — streaks, reminders, friction reduction, calm aesthetics. Then we brought it into a devotional context rooted in Indian cultural identity.
We launched with Hanuman Chalisa in Hindi and Telugu. Shiv Chalisa, Durga Chalisa, and Ganesh Aarti are next. The vision is a complete, beautiful devotional library — calm, multilingual, and free.
ChalisaDaily is currently a passion project built and maintained by a small dedicated team. We believe good software doesn't need a hundred people — it needs the right intention.
If you'd like to contribute — translations, audio recordings, or code — we'd love to hear from you.
